In collaboration with six corporate partners, over 500 high-quality Hurricane Relief Kits have been distributed to date to assist those affected by Hurricane Ian and the homeless of Southwest Florida’s Lee, Charlotte and Collier counties
Naples, FL, March 27th, 2023 — Linstol, a global supplier to the airline industry headquartered in Naples, Florida, through partnerships with Weiner’s Ltd., NTG Air & Ocean, Diaz Trade Law, WooBamboo, iStorage Self Storage, and the Hunger & Homeless Coalition of Collier County came together post Hurricane Ian to assist the homeless and those facing homelessness in Southwest Florida. Together, Linstol and partners have raised over $100,000 in recovery aid, as well as created and distributed over 500 Hurricane Relief Kits.
“We have had a historical commitment to both sustainability and helping the homeless community in Collier County,” said Matthew Dunham-Novoa, Process Innovation Manager at Linstol. “Through direct assistance and partnerships with local organizations who have a larger footprint in the area, we are able to be good stewards of donated resources.”
Linstol’s team of 14 employees invested more than 200 volunteer hours in cleaning houses, packing Hurricane Relief Kits and distributing food and household goods throughout the community. To date, over 500 highly-durable canvas duffle bags have been created with the idea of providing lasting relief rather than one-time assistance by giving much needed supplies such as:
● CLOTHING: Adult Jacket, Adult Sweater, Adult Socks and Adult Underwear
● HOUSING: Blanket, Bungee Cords, Camping Tent, Metal Carabiners, Sleeping Bag and Tarpaulin
● HYGIENE: Body Wash, Cleansing Wipes, Dental Floss Picks, Deodorant, Deodorant
Soaps, Disposable Razors, Female Sanitary Napkins, Hairbrush, Shampoo, Sunscreen, Toothbrush, Toothpaste and Shave Cream
Additionally, Linstol and its corporate partners gave more than $100,000 in targeted financial donations to 17 local Southwest Florida charitable funds with a focus on local community assistance.
